Course Description:
The course elucidates the traditional origin and the concept of home remedies, science behind common home remedies. Through this course participants will know the best ways to effectively use herbs and spices available at home to cure common health ailments. Home remedies offer cures with simple, ingredients like honey, fruits, herbs and natural oils. They, at times, can cure common ailments with no side effects, but they have to be used judiciously. Now there’s more awareness about the benefits of such remedies. Thus, your kitchen, a store-house of herbs and spices greatly improve your health and wellbeing.

Dr Prachee is veteran academician with over 40 years of experience in research and training. A PhD in Consumerism in Education, Dr Prachee is a specialist in policy advocacy and publication offerings. She is an academic research doyen with a penchant for national progress. Dr Prachee believes in nurturing the youth for a better future and better tomorrow.

Dr Harshada is master trainer for Wellness skills for Life CEO programme.
As Research Consultant have been contributing towards various research assignments from different sectors which involves documentation, review, analysis, revisions and report writing. She is working as Reviewer for research journals. Worked at URDIP, Pune as a Patent Analyst, which included search strategy building, patents landscaping, patent trends and technology analysis. As Scientific Researcher worked at Agharakar Research institute, Pune in the field of natural product research for 14 years.
She has international Research publications with citations to her credit. She has authored a book on phytochemical reference standards of 30 Indian medicinal plants and more than 50 monographs in 6 volumes published by ICMR, New Delhi. She is one of the authors of Indian patent filled by ARI, Pune in collaboration with NMRL, Ambernath. She has presented Research papers delivered talks as a subject expert in national and international conferences and several research and educational organizations.
She holds a PhD in Chemistry from Pune University, Post Graduate Degree in Organic chemistry and Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry also from SPPU.
She is the Recipient of ‘The Appreciation certificate’ from ARI, Pune for the extensive research work on Indian medicinal plants. She has been felicitated by Marathi Vigyan Parishad for the publication of book on ‘Phytochemical Reference standard of Indian medicinal plants.
