Course Description:
The course ‘Medicinal Garden at Home’ under the ‘Wellness skills’ focuses on the concept of home garden. It describes the medicinal uses of different medicinal plants that can be planted and maintained at our home garden. The course helps to guide you about ways to plant medicinal herbs and spices at home garden and the parameters for Cultivation of medicinal herbs & spices at Home. It also covers the effective home remedies using these herbs and spices.

Dr Prachee is veteran academician with over 40 years of experience in research and training. A PhD in Consumerism in Education, Dr Prachee is a specialist in policy advocacy and publication offerings. She is an academic research doyen with a penchant for national progress. Dr Prachee believes in nurturing the youth for a better future and better tomorrow.

Dr Harshada is master trainer for Wellness skills for Life CEO programme.
As Research Consultant have been contributing towards various research assignments from different sectors which involves documentation, review, analysis, revisions and report writing. She is working as Reviewer for research journals. Worked at URDIP, Pune as a Patent Analyst, which included search strategy building, patents landscaping, patent trends and technology analysis. As Scientific Researcher worked at Agharakar Research institute, Pune in the field of natural product research for 14 years.
She has international Research publications with citations to her credit. She has authored a book on phytochemical reference standards of 30 Indian medicinal plants and more than 50 monographs in 6 volumes published by ICMR, New Delhi. She is one of the authors of Indian patent filled by ARI, Pune in collaboration with NMRL, Ambernath. She has presented Research papers delivered talks as a subject expert in national and international conferences and several research and educational organizations.
She holds a PhD in Chemistry from Pune University, Post Graduate Degree in Organic chemistry and Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry also from SPPU.
She is the Recipient of ‘The Appreciation certificate’ from ARI, Pune for the extensive research work on Indian medicinal plants. She has been felicitated by Marathi Vigyan Parishad for the publication of book on ‘Phytochemical Reference standard of Indian medicinal plants.

He is a founder, managing director and chairman of Opash Socio-Commercials Pvt. Ltd. – an initiative for sustainable development. He has worked with various CSR consulting firms such as Chhaya Strategic Advisors. He has strategic, tactical and implementation experiences of various projects all across India.
He is a founder and trustee of Deepastambha Charitable Trust founded in 2008.
He worked as a marketing manager in various organizations such as Samartha Bharat Vyaspeeth, ICFAI, Grey catalyst etc.
He pursued Graduation in commerce from BMCC, Pune.
